    Default Claymore 2020 ?

    Hi all,
I am coming across the pond in August to see my daughter perform in the Edinburgh Festival -- a friend of mine in Scotland has told me about the Claymore war games show at that time in Edinburgh. I know it is very early, but are there any plans to run any Sails games at Claymore?

    Right Bill.
The chap you need to get in touch with is on the Drome. He is the Scottish Squadron Leader, Rob, aka Rabbit3. He is instrumental in organizing our part of the show. Failing that Neil, Union Jack here on Sails, aka Skafloc on the Drome also is a leading hand when it comes to things up North.

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

    Thanks Rob,
    B.

ps -- had a really fun Seven Year's War game (Black Powder rules) at the Glasgow and District Wargame Society December meeting while over during the holidays. They told me about Claymore.

That is something we could incorporate in both sites Bill. I will start a sticky for events both that we cover and don't. We have a calendar on both sites but I could never find tat enyone much bothered to put events on it, and I can't get the one on here to update properly.
