    That's my boy!

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

We started off with just beers for sailing ships Jason, but then someone posted Captain Bligh Gin knowing my proclivities in that direction. The Rum then became a natural extension, and now it seems that any alcoholic beveridge is the norm as long as it is directly related to the sea and ships.
So no worries there old chap bring it on. I could do with a bit of a break as I am sure Dave could too.

William Bainbridge (May 7, 1774 – July 27, 1833) was a Commodore in the United States Navy. During his long career in the young American Navy he served under six presidents beginning with John Adams and is notable for his many victories at sea. He commanded several famous naval ships, including USS Constitution and saw service in the Barbary Wars and the War of 1812. Bainbridge was also in command of USS Philadelphia when she grounded off the shores of Tripoli in North Africa, resulting in his capture and imprisonment for many months. In the latter part of his career he became the U.S. Naval Commissioner

The Brewery wrote, " At the Connecticut Valley Brewing Company we not only make delicious beer, we also celebrate the great taste of the craft by going on A Fantastic Voyage in brewing. The Yellow submarine, is a representation of the first submarine invented in CT in 1775 and for the Nautilus Submarine (which is the official Connecticut stateship since 1983) It is our way of commemorating the many people of CT that contribute daily to our country with their hard work and innovative ideas."

Social Unit is a another type of New England Style IPA brewed from different hops including one called Mosaic, which is the reason for the patterning on the sperm whales. The sperm whale is the state animal of Connecticut. They live in groups, which are social units.
