Starter sets.

Anyone know where Captain Kiwi can get hold of a reasonably priced Starter set?
As I could not find one at my usual sources. All gone or the shops had closed down!

If Captain Kiwi lives within driving distance of Norwich, my local games shop still has a starter set for sale but they do not do mail order.

Last year at Triples there were a few cheap ones going, if not already got, it may be worth a look in a few weeks

Just had a look, Northumbria Games have a starter set going for £67 in stock it says. They normally at WMSS and Triples, not sure about Hammerhead, maybe see if they are and ask them to bring to the show to save on postage.
I myself after a French 1st rate Montange which I hope to pick up next month at one show

Strange to say Chris, that is the only French First Rate that I am still waiting for. I think Capt Kiwi is still mulling over The Starter set.

I have both sides of the Frigate, and can't see any use for more. What we really need as you know are the promised new ones.

I get my ships from Caliver books - their starter sets are £79 but the ships are very competitively priced. They are a great company to deal with them and deliver quickly!

I will mention this to Capt Kiwi when I see him next Richard. i had not troubled to look at the price of their ships.
