    Default Chat with Roberto

I had a chat with Roberto via Messenger this afternoon. Here's the latest news on "Sails".

The plan to move manufacturing to the new supplier is in hand, but as is the way of things is taking longer to complete than hoped. The first order of business will be to get the starter set back on the market. It is hoped that this will be ready for this year's Gencon.

No news though on any new products.

I wonder whether they will use the old manufacturing (molds?) or have to create new ones, in which case correct the scale of Constitution and the Spanish ships...

Thanks for the dispatch Captain Manley.
The main news as far as I'm concerned is the release of the Starter sets. That availability alone will make getting new members at shows easier because the will no longer get put on a horse they cannot ride, or rather a ship they cannot sail.

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

    And the answer is......

The same molds will be used, so the dimensions of the models will be the same

    Yes indeed. Thanks Dave.
Good to see that you are more active again. I trust that your recovery is progressing well.
