    Default Independence Seaport Museum

Suzanne and I went to the Independence Seaport Museum for my birthday yesterday and they had some nice models that I thought might be appreciated here.

Don't know how I missed this Dobbs.
    They are indeed interesting.
    Thanks for posting them.

Yesterday I began a new coastline project with 7 batteries housed along its length.

I haven't been there in years. There is a big plan for improvements to the park around the museum and a partial decking over of I-95 beginning this summer, I think.

    Was the Gazella in port?

When I saw the first picture of Mr. Dobbs for a split second I thought it showed the Batavia shipyard in the Netherlands before I realized that it was a diorama.

This is how Batavia shipyard looks from above - the similarities in the layout are remarkable...
