Finished my last game of 'Summer of Plunder' campaign for Firelock's Blood & Plunder skirmish game. It did move my painting of stuff forward - got a tartana and sloop finished plus a few minis. However, it seems it's two steps forward and one back as I ended up with another sloop and more minis. I did use paper for the sloop's sails - not entirely satisficed so next time I will use silkspan (actually examination table paper). Will see how that goes. Some photos from the last games done this week.
For most of the campaign I used my Sengoku period Japanese for North American Woodland natives. I didn't quite catch up as you can see - natives and canoes are unpainted and I still needed 50% Japanese volunteers.
