    Great story. It wasn't clear, the breeze allowed them to position astern and rake them for 20 minutes... they must have stayed in position with the oars? Never heard of anyone rowing into position before. What an action!

    What an unequal fight!
    Just goes to show what good seamanship and a bit of luck can achieve.
    The Slavers gunnery must have been dire to come of so badly after all the early advantages and broadsides that the Black Joke had to endure.
