Looks like a good show Jonas. I see that they also had Wings as well as Sails there. Did you get chance to play or were they just demonstration games?

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

There are very seldom demonstration games in Sweden. Usually anyone who wants can play. The big question is if you have to register for the games ahead of time or if it’s drop in. Both Sails, that I held, and Wings were drop in. I talked to them but didn’t play. There was enough to do to fill my time. I also managed to hang out with friends that organize the tea bar that makes free tea for the visitors.

Even though I was the single organizer I managed to take some pictures. I forgot for the first few games though. I’ll post them. I just have to gather some strength first.

    Thanks for the pictures Jonas.
Any clues as to the action?
    The coastline suggests North Africa.

This was not really a scenario but just a frigate action. I held several of these. It was pretty much up to the players, some saying they only had an hour or so.

Ah yes! a drop in. We often do that at our shows. It gives the punters a chance to experience the game and still lets them have time to see the rest of the show.

I had some simple scenarios about escorting a merchantman. I took some pictures during one of these.
