Default Grace gets a new Jolly Boat

Finishing Agility has been one of my August workbench projects. The sail was the last part of the equation and arrived from the loft on Friday and fit just as I hoped.

Grace goes in the water September 21st, then a few days of fitting out and loading, as well as shutting down the house, and then we're off. We'll knock about the Chesapeake for about a month then head south.Name: 20210830_075904.jpg

Since our unfortunate adventures with the transmission, we replaced Grace's engine (which came with a new transmission).

In her blog, Suzanne has begun laying out the backstory of what we've done to Grace this year. https://waldenrigging.com/sailing-gracefully

She's got a lot to cover, so she's working up from January, when we really got into Grace's latest refit.

    Thanks Dobbs.
I have that contact somewhere stowed away, but it is easier now that you have reminded me. I can now catch up with your progress before you set sail again.

Agility is a trim looking craft. Well done, Dobbs!

Thanks, David. Here are some pictures of Suzanne taking Agility out for her maiden voyage. The wind was an unimpressive 0-5 knots, but we still managed to spend 7 delightful hours on the water.

    What a beautiful sight Dobbs.
I have turned your top photo up the right way. If it vanishes later let me know.
