    Default American frigates

Has anyone done a spreadsheet or similar for the American Frigates? I was wondering how they compared to the UK and French ones and what SoG ships could be subbed for them in a battle.

We started on them with Stats Committee... my informal notes and preliminary pencil-outs are at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...x6eK1I4RE8QDc/ .

Let me stress again that those notes are incomplete and untested. Generally, American ships should be fairly close to their British cousins, if a little beefier in construction and a bit better gunnery and crew strength.
