Default Ares HMS Cleopatra 1779 / HMS Iphigenia 1780 (Copy)

    Hi Folks,

i found that Ares is selling two variants of the "Ares HMS Cleopatra 1779 / HMS Iphigenia 1780"
    on https://ks.aresgames.eu/?s=cleopatra...&type_aws=true.
They have "copy" in its name, one with an US Flag and one with a neutral Flag.

The SKUs given are the same as for the Swan Class SGN107B and SGN107C ?!

    I cannot find any reference.
Does someone of you has any further Info about these - i think - inofficial Ships ?
What are they good for (yes, silly question) ?

I am having trouble accessing the page in your link, Iankin, but I think they are the 32-gun Amazon Class frigates. Two of the models may have been given the wrong names. Look at this page on the Ares website https://www.aresgames.eu/games/sails...class-frigates

These are the pictures to which Lankin was reffering Dave. Just wrong as you said.

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

Based on the pricing, I'd say that the print is wrong, not the pictures, and that they are selling Thorn and Alligator.

thanks folks, that means the SKU's are correct and this might be the sloops instead,
and no special version of this ship.
I've just checked, Thorn and Alligator are not in the Catalog.
