Default Deathwatch Beetle Activity on HMS Victory PhD

Interesting link on Facebook with direct links to the Cranfield University studentship application. I wasn't aware of how extensive the DWB infestation was on HMS Victory, but clearly there's upcoming conservation strategies being planned.

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

I'd say the purpose of the study should not be "behavior" but more "how do we exterminate the bastards without any more damage?"
