For some time now, I've been working on rules for voyaging. This picture shows my most recent progress. It involves 2 decks, one for the weather and one for spotting, plus a 3rd deck for special encounters. Also there's my new card box:

Incidentally, Fair weather is the middle wind speed on the wind gauge. I use an expanded wind gauge, with 7 wind speeds ranging from Calm to Storm.

I finished my card caddy today. Constitution is included for scale.

A very workmanlike answer to the card problem Dobbs. I must look at your rules for this it sounds like just what I want for my games with Captain Kiwi.

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

Looks really nice. I envy anyone who has a nice workshop and you've put yours to good use.
