Vol, was your San Juan a third party sculpt or the Ares Bahama? I'm trying to decide between SJN or Ildefonso/Montanes which one the Ares Bahama is closer to so I can strategize future "repurposing and upgrading."

DB this is one of Simon Mann's 3D FDM Montanes class hulls. Since no one I know of yet makes the San Juan Nepomuceno or any of her sister ships, I decided to use this Montanes hull.

The only real differences I see are in the deck layouts. The Montanes has the rounded rail behind the main mast and the skylight cabin on the poop deck. The Nepomuceno had a square rail and no cabin, more like the San Ildefonso.

Simon does do a San Ildefonso, closer to the Nepo, but I didn't have one.

Gotcha. Well, when Henry's Nepomuceno drops you'll already have a ready repurposing... :)

I have run out of superlatives to describe the work you do Vol except for one. The sheer attention to detail in your painting is Exquisite!

Nothing short of exceptional, Vol. I stand in awe of your detailing!

Thank you Rob and Jim, kind comments indeed. And thank you both for the rep points.
