I usually use the cheap primers from either HD or Lowe's on my plastic models with no problems. Could be Rustoleum or Krylon. I usually get the indoor version though, in black. I have found that a grey sandable auto primer works well on my plastic WWII ships as a base coat. I think it is Krylon as well.
