The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

I went outside at 11 a.m. but I did not see any neighbours. However, they would be at work. We had a good attendance at the short open air Remembrance Service we held outside the village church last Sunday.

We did the same as this on Sunday but got the whole Crescent out Dave. However, as you say some were at work yesterday. On Sunday I placed a small Poppy cross with the names of my fathers' three best friends on it. They were all killed during the War one in the Navy, one as a pilot and the other at Colditz Castle in an escape bid.

Never Forget. IMO, 11/11 should be recognized globally as a day to remember the fallen and thank those who did make it home on behalf of their brothers and sisters at arms who did not.
