The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

Revamp or just re-run? Looks like a straight reprint.

Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to see another Starter with new names and decoes, and regular switching off between "A" and "B" versions every other run... a new version would get Completists opening our wallets, while a straight reprint only draws Newbs and Customizers.

I never doubted you my dear chap. We think alike on that score. You have echoed my thinking on that score, and I'm pretty sure I got the idea from yourself in the first place. It makes total sense.

Thank the lord for that. No starter set = no new players. Alas no sign of any new models and no response to questions posed to Ares on when / if we might see anything

Well that is good news. Thanks to some light fingered players years ago, I am short one ship and my English instructions in my starter set so I am hoping that if we get a new release then we might see some reasonably priced second hand sets on the market. At the moment there are few 2nd hand ones available and none being sold at less than the new recommended retail price!

If you have lost your rulebook, Gary, you can download a copy from the Ares Games website. https://www.aresgames.eu/9927
