    Default Gaming accessory: new mat

I just received in the mail a new gaming mat made from neoprene mousepad material. I picked it up at
    https://thefifthtrooper.com/product/...-carrying-bag/

It’s not as vibrant as their store photo shows but I’m happy with it still, it passes as a watery grave for my opponents. It’s good to have some variation in playing surfaces for SoG.

The galleon in the photo is from Oak and Irons.

Their website states that their shipping location is limited due to covid so it’s restricted to USA currently.

Open Ocean and Stormy Sea look good too. OO for off the North American coast, SS for the Channel and TW for Caribbean and Med?

The waves look very realistic, as do the colours.

Had a close look at all their mats Aaron. For the price they look very good VFM, and cover almost every arena in which you might wish to sail.
    Good find.

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.
