Certainly building up a good picture of the embrionic US Navy.
It will help me when I introduce my American ships into my North African scenarios.

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

The 21 gun salute should be special to see -- in my reenacting days I was at a feu de joie with close to 50 smooth bore field pieces and it was awesome. Really looking forward to this one. I wish Ares would pay more attention to the War of 1812 and the Barbary Pirate Wars with its model issues -- I think there would be a pretty brisk market for them (certainly over here in the colonies, but I also think generally). An interesting "duel" issue could be done with the HMS Shannon and the USS Chesapeake. Or an individual issue of the USS Essex, etc.

That is what we are all crying out for. Give our American cousins more ships Ares!

Ahh! First Barbary War! That would be great! Americans, Barbary corsairs and of course Swedes!
