The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.
Today I gave the surface a watered down PVA layer where I wanted the sand dunes, and then spreinkled fine sand over the area. Tomorrow I will repeat the process and add medium stones. When that has dried I will superglue the big boulders in place.
Meantime I am positioning my buildings to get a feel for how I want the town to look.
Tomorrow I will start painting them whilst the sand and rocks are drying.
