Default Fire and Sails 3D Printed Wargame (Ships, Scenery)

For those who may be interested, the below game was released via Kickstarter a few months back. Intially release came with rules and templates along with the ship files and scenery (two Caribbean forts, houses, islands, lighthouses, walls, dikes, harbors, dry dock). Follow on expansion was several historic shipsm Scale is 1/650 but can be scaled on the printer. I've only printed a few myself, but they turn out pretty well. Thought it might be of interest to those with access to a 3D printer for quick scenery, ships for custom builds, or for parts and pieces.

Hi James , this is a very nice game and minis . I don’t have a 3D printer but I like the models and the system looks pretty nice .
Do you have some printed models to share with us please ?
Specially interested in scenery and the merchant ship

Certainly a good idea for rescaling a few ships for parts Jim.
I would also like to get a squint at any examples you have already produced.
If they will do for spare parts I may well indulge if I can find anyone with a printer.
Merchant shipping waxes large on my horizon too.

I followed a link in the updates to a second Kickstarter they ran of Historic Ships. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...=project_build

If they are scaleable and of reasonable quality, then this could be a way to develop Sails of Glory for someone with a 3D printer.

The expansion pack certainly looks the ticket Dave.
Lots of the sculpts are missing links from Ares. Just a matter of how they would scale down.
The detail looks good at their intended size.

I'm trying to feverishly find which box I packed them in when I move last weekend. I've only printed a few test ships myself right now, and at the 1/650 scale. Th hull is one piece, and most of the masts/sails are bisected down the middle. They can be glued together and then fitted into holes on the hull. They can be glued in for additional stability. I haven't tried any of the scenery yet, but will probably pivot to that for the time being. I had purchased this while waiting for reprinting of the SoG starter set and while the Oak and Iron kickstarter was finishing. I'm excited to to dive back into this, as well though, with the current available time. I will be sure to post pic and hope some folks find this useful/worthwhile.

At 1/650 scale, I would think they would be close enough to the Warlord Games Black Seas 1/700 ships as to make no difference.

    1/2400, 1/1200, 1/1000, 1/700, 1/300, and now 1/650!
All of these AOS scales is enough to make my head spin! Exorcist style!

Now, after whining about this, I have a confession to make.....
I just received my first fleet pack yesterday and another is on the way.

Vol - Now you just need the schooner pack to make a proper US fleet.
