Here is my rendering of a fireship. It involved a small LED, a large hole in the base of the Ship of the Line and a battery holder plus switch concealed in the base, plus a bit of cushion filling for the smoke.
    Model by Ares.

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

This is my Bomb ketch or Galiote á bombe

It's originally a SGN107 corvette that has been rebuilt. Link to thread describing the rebuild: Galiote á bombe

The Main Mortar just to the rear of the Main mast is the easiest to make out on its turntable.
The forrard Mortar seems to be lost in the murk.

    Great work!

I will try to make something like that to add to the civilian crafts that can figure in scenarios.
