The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.

It's great they have a historical uniform and all, but that's the 1812 model. I would have preferred them using the 1795 model that was used at the Battle of Trafalgar.

    I agree Jonas.
I'm sure that they must have some re-enactor they could have called upon to do the correct thing.

If they had asked me I'd been there definitely!

If they had asked you Jonas, I would have been there with you too my boy, and I dare say a goodly number of other British shipmates too.

A belated Happy Trafalgar Day to you all.

(The picture of the postage stamp I am currently using as my avatar shows the 1795 Admiral's uniform.)

Indeed it does. It's a captain's uniform in the picture at the top though.
My avatar shows a bastardisation of my 1795 captains uniform to emulate admiral for a LARP. You can see that on the mariners cuff on the sleeves. I do also have the coat and hat of a rear admiral's undress uniform, though.

The biggest differens between the two avatars beeing that I've outgrown my uniform...
