    David Miller
    ISBN:
    0-7624-1652-1
    Category:

    Summary:
This book provides information on the age of sail during the times covered in Patrick O'Brian's books featuring his fictional hero Jack Aubrey. It gives details on ships, uniforms, weapons, and much more. Particularly interesting is the factual information on the actual ships that O'Brian used in his books, such as the HMS Surprise. An excellent book for fans of O'Brian's works.

Just found and watched a couple of great RC sailing ship videos on YouTube. Added one to this thread as it features the HMS Surprise (and others).

Had to add the second one here (not permitted to have more than one by administrator). The second video has more than a tad bit of literary license as it were. But it's by the original builder of the RC HMS Surprise and I found it pretty enjoyable. Cheers.
