    Default Random outcome!

As Captain Kiwi and I have played a series of games over the years, he suggested in one of our AWI games that we include random outcome cards such as incursion by friendly/enemy Indians during a scenario. Failure or success at blowing walls down, reports from scouts of enemy flank movements True or False etc. these proved a hit with the gamers, and we have recently added some to our Solo Campaign missions to spice things up.
Here are some of the first we are trying for your edification. I will not bore you with the percentage of good/bad cards to include, that will be up to your own degree of sadism. Nor will I dictate where they are used save to say I intended the wound cards to be when you draw the Captain wounded little blue chit. Then draw and see if he is taken below or not. If wounded and remains on deck he is open to that dreaded second blue chit, if taken below he is safe to recover after the battle.
I will probably be doing some fire damage cards in the near future as well.It don't always go out as you wish. Nevertheless use or belay as you wish. I will even add blank Master cards if you show any interest in this. You can then add your own preferences here on the thread. just don't expect to be spoon fed on this lot. Your own imaginations can take you much further than my pathetic efforts ever will. All I say is give it a go and i think you will be surprised how much it peps up your game.
I will have to leave it here for the present as I have just drawn the Supper time card.

The Business of the commander-in-chief is first to bring an enemy fleet to battle on the most advantageous terms to himself, (I mean that of laying his ships close on board the enemy, as expeditiously as possible); and secondly to continue them there until the business is decided.
