Today I am pleased to announce a rather belated medal award of the Minor Con GM medal to JasonB. Well done sir.

And no suprises here. The top monthly thread starter goes to Bill Wentworth. This is the fourth month running and has qualified him for his gold award. Congratulations Bill.
The good news is that takes him out of the running so you chaps have a better chance next month.
He can now only go for top yearly thread starter. Oh no he already has that one!

As those shipmates who have sailed the waters of Doncaster at our yearly gathering will know, we always award the Admiral's Trophy to one of the players. For obvious reasons this year we could not make this award in the usual manner. After much pondering by the Board of Admiralty it was decided this year we would base the award upon the Shipmate who had made the greatest contribution to the Anchorage during the past 12 months.
The award was based on the same formula which is used to acertain who is to go to Origins. We drew up a shortlist of the five highest scoring candidates and then the Admiralty Board made its selection. It is also unusual in that this will be the first time the Trophy has left these shores as all those candidates shortlisted were from other lands across the seas.

It, therefore, gives me great pleasure to announce that the winner of this year's Admiral's Trophy is;-

    First Lieutenant Dobbs Fryberger.

Congratulations Lieutenant, you will have your name inscribed on the Trophy which will be wending its way to your home just as quickly as a Packet ship can wing its way to the Chesapeake.

    Your servant,
Wm. Bligh, Admiral of the Blue, and Secretary to the Board of Admiralty.

Good to hear from you two intrepid sailors. I am glad you you like your so richly deserved award Dobbs. All I now need to do is get to an Engravers which I can find still actually working and get the plate done for the trophy. Please PM me with the delivery address to which you would like it sent.
    Once a gain congratulations sir.
