I have noted your acquisition of supplies from the stores, and referred the matter to the Surveyor to the Board Captain D. Manley. for the forwarding of your account to the Clerk of the works. Expect an invoice for said items shortly.

Hang on a tic, there was a note saying "please forward all invoices to the admiral"... I guess we return to sender?

In my official status as Admiral of the Fleet midshipman McDorf, I can assure you that the only Admirals on the Navy Board are either retired or have gone to Fiddler's Green. if you have trouble paying your share of the MESS BILL I advise you to apply to your own Captain to grant you a loan via the Purser. Good luck with that one!

Not so much, I'll just indulge in another fine old naval-bureaucracy (well, bureaucracy in general) tradition and find some other accounts to skim from to pay for it...

    Good move Captain DB.
As I am still wearing my hat as Admiral of the Fleet, I doubt that any more of this will reach my ears,I sincerely hope not! And of course just like Lord Nelson I actually do have a blind eye which I can turn.
