Wooden Ships & Iron Men is a Naval Boardgame that could be played with 1/1200 Napoleonic ships.

Yes, it is quite busy already. Looks like I'll have to get my shipwrights to working harder! Once this ship is seaworthy, they have to start work on my personal ship... made from recycled rum berrals!
I used to play WS&IM...the board game and dabbled around with some miniature ships too...Ah...Those were the days me matey's ! :D:D:D
Glad the Royal Hajj started this site. As stated much activity for a site with real game to play. But then many friends to be made before hand.

A forum for a game that doesn't yet exist, with rules we can't scrutinize or over-analyze, and minis we can't nitpick! In some ways, maybe that's the best kind of game!
