I did add to the masts and fixed the jib too.

It's synthetic sewing thread. It's a thin one.

Nearly said another first rate bit of work, but knew someone would point out my mistake, so I will say a first class bit of work instead.

Thank you for your nice comments.

I think I have to add fixed flags to these. There's no boom on the spanker making my usual solution impossible.

What do you use to drill the holes for the thread?

    By using 0.5 mm drills.

    These are my two variants.

One is made to be used for modeling and the other is for drilling circuit boards and put in a hobby drill handle.

    Have rigged my version now.
I have found that Langton ratlines PE04 fit with minor trimming and adjustments.

    Here is my effort

My rigging is my normal "brush" method and ratlines are Langtons PE04
I will have to re-do the pennent though, I think should be white

A very smart job as usual Chris.

    Jonas,
I'm hoping to emulate this method and I hope they turn out nearly as good as yours.
I have drill bits as small as .3 so I am hoping to make the holes as tight as possible.
Did you drill any holes in the fighting tops to attach the thread or just tie them?

I drill holes nowadays. I didn't earlier but I think it fixes the thread better and you can get the end where you want it.

On the 74s I even drill holes to the front of the tops to let the stays out closer to the mast.
