Oh man, are some people gonna be pissed when those show up in a reprint... *snickering evilly*

Don't know when, or what will be changing, but the folks at Ares have assured that someday we will see those names and stats again. They might change the paint, or just the package, but... you can't do Trafalgar without Bellerophon and Redoutable, both KS ships.

Maybe so, but Ares also said that the Kickstarter ships will never be produced again.

How have you been DB. I haven't been spending too much time on the Anchorage lately. The older I get, the more time I need to practice shooting, so I can try to keep up with the young'uns.

Ed, they more specifically said that the KS combination of name, paint and package won't be back. Maybe the paint changes, maybe just the package--at the rate they're going we'll have four/eight more ships than the later arrivals for a long time yet, and while others may disagree, the huge head start and the KS Edition box are exclusive enough for me, just like on the Giants. :)

Building my first AR15... lower through a group buy at a local club, Palmetto LPK, looking at a nickel-boron BCG from AIM Surplus and a keymod upper from Wise Arms. Which reminds me... even though I don't know if any of my old Sheriff's Dept. buddies are still around the usual range, I need to get back out there and put some mags through the ol' .45 again. And dealing with a complication on another AR, since the GF wants to build one too but as a Canadian citizen she can't have a lot of the good parts due to ITAR equine manure even if they are castoffs from my surplus bin... This might be better moved to PM over at the 'Drome where I have inbox room.

Found them, 4 ships they went for $99 on 29 Aug, they were on ebay.com

I also seem to remember Ares saying the kickstarter ships would be published, just not in the same paint scheme

If I'd missed the party, I'd be willing to pay up to about that, depending on shipping. $30 each SOL, $20 each frigate allowing for "collector premium."

    Thanks DB.
I felt that in £ English it was reasonable for this compared to some of the prices for other Ares ships for sale.

$99 is approx £76 I think at current rates. If you canfind one in UK they range between £65-£75 with postage on top in some cases.
I luckily got two sets of kick stRter specials so I got both sides and happy. Just want the Spanish etc when they finally decide to materialise.

I only have two of the British ships. I wouldn't mind another Téméraire even though I already have a few.
$99 isn't that bad, but you never know what the postage will be. I saw a mat on ebay for $19.99 with postage to Sweden $47.00. That's why I seldom look at ebay anymore.

That was a bit rich for my purse, especially with the new Spanish on the stocks.

HOLY GUACAMOLE, BATMAN! I agree with Rob ... a bit too pricey. Throw $50.00 at Cool Stuff Inc and a little paint on four "sister" ships and you're good to go ... with another $129.00 to spend on the next wave!!!
