    Default How to make anchors.

Hello I share a mini tutorial on how to make anchors for ships. Applies to ships of Sail of Glory or any other scale. I hope it's ussefull.

    Materials.

The materials used to make anchors are three:
1)Remains of matrix of ratlines or brass sails.
    2)Staples. I use staples 22/6 DIN 7405
3)"Cancamos" . I put the name in Spanish because I dont know the tranlator in English, sorry.

    The anchor is finished !!!

Now you just have to paint it and put it on the boat.

Tip: If the boat is very small is possible that the "cancamo" is very large. This usually occurs in frigates and ships of 64 guns. We can replace the "cancamo" for a piece of staples. I also recommend in some cases build anchor directly onto the hull.

It is a more or less cheap way to make anchors in reduced scales and the visual effect is acceptable.
