    Default 74's against the Spanish!

Today, I got another game of Sails, rather unexpectedly! Our Wars of the Roses game was postponed! Did I mind?

    NAH!

The report is on my blog Herkybirds nest. Link

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as we did playing it!

Lovely little encounter Richard, and ideal for your friend's learning curve with a bit of everything thrown in.
Add to which just think of the prize money.

Thanks Rob, I think he is feeling lots happier about how to handle his crew actions and the wind after today!

I wouldn't mind at all, even if I get smashed to pieces again!

It will have to wait a bit though, as my Mum will pass away in the next 24-48 hours, hopefully for her and us, and then I have all the funeral and financial stuff to do, so I think it may be a month or so before I get back to anything wargame related.

    Be happy!

Its over. My Mum passed away quite peacefully at 09:50 GMT this morning. I feel quite relieved and am happy she is finally at peace. As Christians, to misuse a famous quote we can say 'This is not the end, it is not even the beginning of the end, but it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning' !

As I said to you yesterday Richard, to paraphrase JM Barrie in his novel Peter Pan, this is the beginning of the greatest adventure of all.
