More Ships the Easy Way

I wonder if Ares has considered releasing Wave 2 with full sails? It seems like it would be an easy interim that would sell more ships.

It would mean creating a new set of moulds for the models but they would not have to start from scratch. Simpler would be new ship cards for vessels in the same class and stickers to allow changed to national flags when a vessel is captured and reused by a different nation.

I like the idea of new cards and ship mats, like in WOG, that gives you a clearer opening for scratch building and repaints . . . so say the sea elves . . .

That's the way they are going to sell more models.
I for one only need a couple more ships to complete one for each side of every card, bar the Kickstarter, but already have four conversions under my belt, and those who can't or won't convert, only have your way to go if they are to go on expanding without duplications , and can't handle processing their own cards.
A nice little money spinner if ever I saw one.

More repaints of the Téméraires with battle sails and a nicer stern gallery would make me buy more of them even though I have plenty enough already. There were built 120 of them in France and a few in Britain so there are a few to choose from.

I am also looking closely at the Temeraires Jonas.
Maximum return for minimum input there I fancy.
However, i must get my other projects completed first.

That's a good point, Jonas. I hadn't thought about going the other way with the First Wave and Specials. Battle sails for them and full sails for the 1st rates and Hebes.
