Hi all, been flirting with Sails of Glory for a few years now. Have played probably half a dozen small games with the starter set and recently received the two Spanish ships as well as a French frigate from friends in my local gaming group as "encouragement" to go all the way. Happy to report I've recently ordered my own copy of the Starter as well as the USS Constitution.

Have been an avid WGF player and collector for a couple years and love that system. Also play X-Wing and some other tabletop wargames but no need to go into that here. Looking at SGN as a perfect entree to the Age of Sail... love all the "___ of Glory" games, and look forward to many happy hours with the system.

We started a solo campaign in the beginning of the year. If you would like to join, let us know. Neil is overseeing it, and he can help you set up a roster.

You'll find some X-Wing players here who would be happy to discuss the game. I have played it a couple of times, but I am not a space-theme fan, though I hope to get Space Empires 4X to the table this year.
