    Yes, I'm right handed...
Now all my projects will have to wait for a while.

    Thank you.

As I get a few days at home, perhaps I can get both an AAR finished and play a few more solo-scenarios. I could do that left-handed as soon as I can figure out how to live.

Yes Jonas. More of your superb AARs please, but not at the expense of your arm! I trust it will be better soon. Looks like you have been hit by a falling spar or something.
What on earth have you been doing ? You been dueling again?

Jonas, you should leave the Super Mutants in Fallout 4 alone!

Joking aside, I hope that your injury isn't too serious and that you make a speedy and 100% recovery! You really should rest and not overdo it.

I hope the injury is not too bad, I too wonder what damage has been done. My guess would be a laceration around the wrist area? Warm?

Very impressive, Rory, but I would rather use a stimpack to cure the arm.

    (Yes it's the old one...)

Thank you all for your support. It's heartwarming and a support when every little simple thing is hard to do. It's my first cast ever and takes some getting used to.

I was biking and for some reason somebody though paving stone was a good idea on biking lanes. In rain it gets very slippery. My little finger ended up pointing in a bad direction and I got back on the bike and went to the hospital instead of to work. A doctor fixed it and an orthopedist will look at it again on Tuesday. I'm going to look a little strange on my nephew's baptism this weekend. There was a black eye and some other scrubbing...

    Aarrh!

I'm afraid it will rather be more of a Miami Vice inspired costume with having a hard time getting the cast through shirt sleeves.

Thankfully the nurse suggested removing the shirtsleeve before the cast was made giving me three alternatives: Remove the shirt, wear it for a week or cut it off.

Bike accidents can be horrendous. If I remember correctly Roberto from Ares also suffered a major bike accident this year or last?

Be well and heal up quickly.

No more Sabre practice for you for a while then.
Many years ago (1963) I spent 7 weeks in a hospital bed following a very serious motorcycle accident (they finally amputated said leg in 1969 but that's a whole other story). My wife, who had visited me on every day of that 7 weeks, said she would buy me a pair of Jeans, cut one leg from crotch to ankle and apply tapes to keep it together once worn.
The fateful day arrived for me to put on these beautifully hand sewn Jeans but, unfortunately, as she had turned them inside out to cut and sew she had managed to do the wrong leg. I left the hospital with one leg of the trousers held together with tapes and the other, having been hastily cut, held together with pins.
On the up side however it did give us all a jolly good laugh. So look on the bright side; there is normally some humour hidden in any situation. You just have to find it.
Hope you have a full and speedy recovery.

Ah, I hope the finger gets better soon. On the up side, leaving it might allow you to point round corners?

I hope it wont. It's usually by hurting...

It was a bone in the hand that had popped loose and the finger did a Bladerunner.

Jonas, I am sorry I missed the OP.

How is the healing going, thus far?

I hope all will be well.

    Thank you.

My hand is expected to be fully recovered. All X-rays have shown the bones to be in the right places.

That is good! - I imagine the soft tissues will still take a fair time to recover fully. Be patient and it will be ok!

Great to hear things are going well Jonas.
    A lucky escape.
When you try flexing the injury, rub some baby oil on the skin. It will help to subtle things up and help movement. I was advised this after my finger amputation, and got full movement back in a couple of months.
