Just as an aside and I'm sad:

The current active members compared to the membership is 6% roughly.

Out of the 98 active members we have 12 playing in the solo campaigns...12% roughly. So roughly every player that joins the campaigns adds 1%.

    Spread the word.

I know I'm sad...it's all this time I have on the Bactrian trying to make it to a friendly port.

    Glad to be of service.

I kind of thought all old wargamers had read Larry Leadhead. It's sadly gone now but there were so many things you went "Aha, been there.". Very funny.

I have 3 enormous warhammer 40k armies that are worth more than I care to imagine. I wonder why hoarding enormous collections of toys is an almost uniquely male thing.

Good thing that money is only a placeholder for more war gaming stuff!

I have just, I hope, caught up with all the bookkeeping. I just have to go back and adjust the new rules for prize money repairs/recruiting. So some of your ships will repair faster or you will have more money in the coffers.

I am changing the repairs for the Nation v Nation to 2 hull /2 crew per prize money spent. The 1 hull/1 crew for staying in port remains for both campaigns. However for the pirate/privateers you will only repair/recruit 1 for 1 prize money spent. (tougher to get spares and recruits).

We should talk about the "let the men drink" and "Repair" actions.

Should it be possible do execute these actions (once) in a scenario? For example in the beginning or the end of a game?

Each action is worth 0,5 prize money or waiting in port for 1 scenario. So instead of repairing/recruiting it in port, the player can perform some "last repairs" or "crew reactivation" just in the game.

Hence the free hull repair at the end of each scenario. This constitutes a bigger repair than a jury rig etc during battle. Crew can be replaced by playing the grog rule. Only 1 player has done so to now. If you wish I will make this an auto replacement like the the hull repair at the end of each scenario.

It's a part of the game, if you don't use repair and grog in the game you can just use it in your last turn after you've won.

I think the grog wears off. I don't think it should give any special treatment and I started the next scenario with a crew less.
