Challenger best bitter is brewed by the Ales of Scilly brewery based on St Mary's, the largest of the Scilly islands off the coast of Cornwall.
The brewers wrote," A best bitter 4.2% for the more traditional ale connoisseurs. London-bound with her exotic fruit cargo, the Challenger struck rocks and sank off Gunners Ledge in 1843.
