    The real tragedy: Mexico had two steam-powered, shell-firing-cannon-armed frigates (_Montezuma_, and _Guadeloupe_), the latter of which was iron-hulled; with those ships, Mexico could have done serious harm to the USN during the Mex-Am War.

    1811 - A squadron under Rear Admiral Keats launched a series of raids on the Spanish coast between Rota and Porta de Santa Maria, destroying many shore batteries

    You have to salute the persistence of the RN...chased that privateer for two hundred years! see I've been reduced to picking on typo's while waiting for the games release. The horror!
