Saw this nice ruler tool at Origins 2014.

7eat51 built them to make measuring more easy without dismounting the ships from the bases.

I did a tech transfer from the USA to Europe and copied this tool.



Just cut a small, flat board in exact pieces.

Then chut a thin round timber in two pieces.

Drill small holes into the boards and the timber (!important - otherwise you ruin the wooden pieces!) and fix the boards with little nails at the timber's end. Don't forget the wood glue!

Measuring half ruler distance isn't a problem anymore.

Just check it with the new tool.



Same goes for the shot distances.



Maybe I'm going to paint them next week.
