    Default Unoffcial Stats

Tried looking but cannot find any unofficial stats for 80 and 64 gun ships.

    Are there any?

And if there are can someone point me in the right direction please.

    Cheers Neil

I don't see any either Neil.
I'm sure someone will have played these ship types in a game somewhere and can come up with something suitable to fill in before the new ships are issued next year.

Ive been using some stats for 80 gun ships for a while now.

You can see them here near the end:
AAR: Duty and Daring - Danger and Determination

It's the Alexandre that is the 80 gun Tonnant-class.

I thought this was something the stats committee was working on?

Well... Working on is a little... That implies an ongoing effort. But yes, we have that on our table.

Logically, a 64 would come somewhere between the U.S.S. Constitution and a 74(third rate), probably slightly nearer to the 74.

Would you sat Constitution was about the same as a Razee Frigate Dave?

I'm not Dave, but I would be comfortable treating the Humphreys 44's as equivalent to 58-gun heavy-frigates (because that's pretty much what they really were, only 44's on paper), so... I'd say a 64-gun two-and-a-half-decker should be treated as a more durable, slightly slower-decaying variant on the Constitution hull stats, maybe tweak the crew points upward accordingly too. No suggestions on maneuver deck though, but perhaps a point less Veer.

    Thanks DB.
    That helps a lot.
May also get me a Constitution this weekend if Stafford Games have one in stock.

Had a bash at a 64. Does this look right?

I would have gone with deck D if you don't specifically want a slow 64. I'd lower veer too. My feeling is to lower the musketry too.

Compare to a British 74 like the Goliath.

I made stats for Agamemnon for the Battle of San Domingo. I think I made them before Constitution so they need to be updated. I don't have the musketry here but here's my old guess at gunnery:
    3-5-3, 3-4-3, 2-4-3, 2-3-3, 2-3-2, 2-3-2, 1-3-2, 1-2-1, 1-1-1

I made her a 5-5 for Burden and Veer, and I used Deck B due to Agamemnon having a reputation for being slow and arriving last at the battle. I don't think they all were slow though.
