what a beautiful ship , it was great to get to see it up close.

The trip over the Pond to Yorktown was well worth it and I even got to meet Richard and his charming good lady.

To mark the anniversary of our trip to Yorktown last June, Richard has published these two previously unseen photographs over on the Wings Forum.

Richard, had introduced me to General Washington earlier, whom I discovered was an old friend of his.
Later in the week we had the pleasure of the company of the General's wife Martha one afternoon in Williamsburg.
