Sweet looking ship, Gunner! The water looks great too. The texture reflecting the background light almost looks like sunlight on water.

Lovely ship Gunner. Nice to see a Spaniard on the horizon. Hope the lookout has spotted the tidal wave off the starboard beam though!

I hope Ares Games will make this ship, but you can paint it if they finally refuse to make it. Ship of the line "Príncipe de Asturias". It was made in the La Habana shipyard. It was part of the spanish fleet at the Cape Saint Vincent battle and the spanish ensign ship in Trafalgar.

One of our member consultants to Ares has indicated we may see 3 Meregildos Class Spanish ships coming in future waves. From Three Decks that means we might see any of the following:

    Santa Ana
    Mejicano
    Conde de Regla
    Real Carlos
    Salavador del Mundo
    San Hermenegildo
    Reina Luisa
    Principe de Asturias

    http://3decks.pbworks.com/w/page/915...gildos%20Class

I'm partial to the Santa Ana because it survived Trafalgar and was recaptured by the Spanish. Unfortunately she was sunk in the mud in Havana harbor along with the Príncipe de Asturias in 1816.

You forgot two more Montanes class ships that were 80 guns, Neptuno 1795 and Argonauta 1798.

You take reason mate and i did not post the complete list. Montañés class was a design based on San Ildefonso class. The twins Neptuno and Argonauta were the most developed ships in the class. The ships of Montañés class were very fast. Ares Games develops the other "Argonauta" (Téméraire-class ship of the line). That´s the french ship Argonaute, which fought in Trafalgar under french flag, later under spanish command and renamed "Argonauta". The spanish ship Argonauta (Montañés class) fought in Trafalgar also and was sunk by HMS Ajax.

Top is the Argonauta. Middle is the Commerce de Bordeaux as Argonauta. Same model, different trim. Bottom is the difference in the ships log.
Heroe is the same as Argonauta except for box 6 (3 4 3).

PS Juan, please note corrected flag

I noted a 2 4 2 on Commerse de Bordeaux instead of 2 3 2 on the Argonauta and the Argonauta keeping the 4 for musketry after one crew damage.

    Difference, but not much.

Great work! The ship and flag are beautiful. You have put the correct year as i told above. The Argonauta developed by Ares Games is the french ship interchanged by spaniards after the Trafalgar battle. If Ares Games refuse to develop any Montañés class ship for the game, you can make another ship mat for playing with the spanish ship Argonauta 1798 (Montañés class). That ship was in Trafalgar battle, in the spanish fleet, and was sunk as i told.

I'm pretty sure those ratlines are from the Anchorage Store. http://www.aerodromeaccessories.com/...-of-glory.html

Right now you can only get some of the sets by purchasing the entire Wave 1 set. Some individual sets are sold out. Keith has indicated he might be doing sets for Wave 2 down the road and there's also a possibility they'll be done in stainless steel instead of brass. Not sure when he'll be doing a Wave 1 reprint if at all?

Then it's the same ones that are on the way in shipping to me.

If ratlines for wave 2 would be made I would buy some of those, but I would buy more of the sets for the 74s, especially the Témeraires I find...
