    I thought so, but I wasn't a reader/member back then.

I just wanted to be both optimistic on the date and remark about us in the old world getting it later.

Has to be an exact date Jim.

OK. I expect we'll have no winners this time either.

The odds are, it looks that way.
What I don't understand is, this site has enough members to easily cover every weekday of the year, but relatively few want a shot at a free ship.

But what is a free ship compared to the honour?

No, actually I won, when I accurately predicted "there's no way in hell we're seeing these in the timeframe provided" -- *TWICE*.

When folks start writing articles on "Epic KickStarter Failures", I fully expect to see this on the list.

Update from CSI on my replacement woes!

Thanks for ordering with us. I have just spoken with our buyer and he has told me that our distributors have now received the upgraded packaging and we should be seeing them soon. Please email us back once you see that these are restocked and we should have no issue processing out you replacement order. I apologize for any confusion and/or inconvenience this may have caused. We appreciate your business and look forward to any future orders you may place.

So, this is good news as long as they follow through correctly. Best of luck for you and everyone else ordering the older ship waves.

Talked to CSI today, they said they have the reprints in stock and will ship preorders today. They already sold out of their initial shipment of the Constitution and Victory and should have more later this month.

Thanks for the update Gunner. Miniature Market has the New Wave One ships up for sale on their website. They've already sold out of the Argonauta!! I would suggest if anyone was thinking of getting some Spanish ships they'd best not hesitate? Cheers!

That seems to be CSI's fastest seller also, they're down to 18 in stock.

That's great news to hear as well. I'm especially happy to hear that CSI has sold out of their initial shipment of Victory and Constitution. This is good for Ares and may be especially good for those of us hoping to see a Santisima Trinidad Special Pack?

But, when I checked their New Releases, Restocks, & Pre-Orders they only showed the four reprints, not the V&C???

If you're talking about Miniature Market they've never had the Victory or Constitution up for pre-order as far as I know? CSI on the other hand has had them up for quite some time. Not sure why that is? While this doesn't seem likely, maybe they never got the ordering sheets from Ares?

Some quick comparison searching and I see that Atomic Empire has them listed, but The War Store, Strike Zone and Funagain Games do not?

Just received an email from Cool Stuff confirming that they shipped my Wave 1 reprints today. I should have them by Friday
Didn't have the V&C on order with them, have a couple of each on order from Ares.

Looks like Miniature Market has fully restocked the Wave 1 repaints. All four ships show 20+ copies available. Still no sign of the HMS Victory or USS Constitution as pre-orders though?

Mine are coming Monday. It would be unlike me to pass up any excuse to complain, however small, but I guess I can make it that long without unseemly whining...

Depending on how your ships are being shipped Monday is Presidents' Day. No USPS delivery or pickup that day.

With the latest news it seems like I can't give a ship away, so I'll extend the offer to Feb 23rd for anyone to pick a new date even if you already picked a date.
First come, first served. Someone will have to pick the right date this time.

    "Project Update #79

    The blockade continues...

    Dear Sails of Glory backers,

port congestion in the US looks more and more like a blockade set by our enemies at sea... These are the news we got yesterday regarding our container:
•LGB PORT ETA CHANGED FROM 2/19 TO 2/26
•CHICAGO RAMP ETA CHANGED FROM 3/01 TO 3/10

Translated from "freightforwardese", the new estimate is that the shipment including HMS Victory and USS Constitution will not land in the US until next week, and will not be in our warehouse until the 2nd week of March. If all goes well :-(

We will continue to keep you updated as we receive further information.

Thanks for your support and patience, we all hope the wait will be over soon!"

This is getting to be too much. I'll change my guess to March 24.
Thanks for keeping us updated though! I've been checking this thread most days for any possible updates.

One question, if I pre ordered directly from Ares, how much longer should I expect to get it after the official release date?

That might be difficult to determine? From some recent posts they're going to prepackage minimum sets (1 HMS Victory, 1 USS Constitution and 1 Replacement Ruler) to go out first and fastest. If you ordered more (like I did) it may take longer for the warehouse in Indiana to process for shipment.

At this point I don't even care if retailers get them before those of us who ordered via Ares do. I just want them available for the game before another year passes. As Eric has said in another post, this has really hurt the games momentum.

I'm not sure if it's too late to order from Ares. You might want to ask them at http://www.aresgames.eu/
