So I acquired a fun little trinket from my Dad that I will be putting into play among my group of friends as a trophy of sorts. The thinking is that whom ever has possession of the sword may be challenged. If defeated they will turn over the Captains Sword to the victor. A little silly, but I figured it would put this to use and add some additional flavor to the game.

That's all I've got. I though it was kind of fun and thought I'd share.

Does anyone else have a traveling trophy type thing? I think this idea could be expanded upon to further add some fun and additional depth to the game. Let me now if you have any ideas.

This has me thinking about some type of rotating "trophy" we could have at our FLGS.

That is a fine looking sword and it sounds like a good idea. There are plenty of facsimile weapon manufacturers.

Excellent idea, which adds a nice bit of flavor and fun to the game. Something like Paul Bunyan's Axe which goes back and forth between Minnesota and Wisconsin.

It is mainly my brother and I, but occasionally my wife and another friend or two will join. My brother took custody of the sword today, it was a pretty fun battle (1 1st rate and Hebe frigate per side).
