My money is on the longshot, yellow. But if they go like WOG, you're probably right.

I know, but it's a catch 22 thing. An admiral without ships, but if I have the ships...

As for numbers; Well... I started out with just two from the Kickstarter, the two British, then I added a few 74s as I really love the 74s. Now I have about ten 74s each for British and French and a handful of frigates for each. Both sides have three first rates, too, now apparently a few more on the way. Then there's Victory...

I still need a few more ships... Only one unrated simply will not do. Thinking of building a civilian vessel makes me looking at getting a few more frigates. I'm thinking if I cut off a few guns and cover up the gun ports, perhaps raise the ship to make it look bigger...

I've got 15 SGN ships and the Niagara. Waiting for Constitution and Victory like everyone else. I bought a carrying case for the ships and now I have to go buy another. Nature abhors a vacuum, and the empty slots in my next case are already begging to be filled.

I have pretty close to 100. I have 2 of each model + 2 of each of the KS exclusives. I figured about 76 + 20 additional extras. When I receive my Constitution and Victory order, that should put me at over 100.

    12 First rates (6 French, 6 British)
    32 Commodore KS
12 4 French Hebes, 2 British Hebes, 2 each French, British, American Sloops
8 Wave 2 reprint (Spanish and British)

That's 64 well maybe I don't have as many as I thought, but I have purchased extra 3rd rates for all countries, and extras of all classes of each ship.

    Default The Fleet, so far!

Thought you might like to see the fleet, the RN one anyway. The French /Spanish Fleet is in the mill.

Still waiting for Victory and 4 x 2nd Rates to complete the RN Fleet. I know, that's what we all say until, "Got to have one of them!"

As mentioned previously, somewhere, my models are classified under the 3' rule, so don't look too closely! Still some painting to do too!

The sea is dark green panne velvet. For those of my vintage, in the '60's it was called velvetine/velveteen/velveteen or whatever.

    Cheers

Impressive. Are your bases the clear side of a SOG base, or Litko?

That's quite the fleet! Well done. How are you storing them between battles? I have sufficient ships, but they're all in the original boxes except for the repainted/rigged ships. I've held back on going into a massive fleet conversion due to storage issues and space. Best leaving them safely in their boxes until I come up with a better system.

I agree! - impressive fleet! - The cloth looks like it would be good for X-Wing too!!

I carry my ships in a box, carefully, as the rigging catches and detatches in the standard bulky packing!

If you did new slim bases rather than using the existing transparent plastic plate you could use magnetic material and store the vessels upright in a deep container (with metal or self-adhesive steel liner) or a large cake tin or similar... But it would mean conventional opaque basing that needs texturing & painting...

    Thanks,

I have not had any problems...so far...with carrying my little ships around. I would use foam to separate them if it became an issue, I think.

Current total: 63. Includes both ships in hand and ships on the way. I've listed both names for models where I have duplicates; HMS Bellona is the only ship I have three of. Doesn't count my wish list of Wave 3 ships.

    Royal Navy: (30)
    Sloops: Swan, Fairy, Detroit (3)
Frigates: Terpsichore, Meleager, Sybille, Amelia, Juno, Castor, Cleopatra, Iphigenia, Concorde, Unite, Orpheus (11)
Two-Deckers: Bellona, Goliath, third Slade common 74, Zealous, Defence, Vanguard, Impetueux, Spartiate, Defiance, Billy Ruffian (10)
Three-Deckers: Victory, Royal Sovereign, Brittania, Royal George, Hibernia, Queen Charlotte (6)

    France: (25)
    Sloop: Alligator (1)
Frigates: Courageuse, Unité, Hermione, L'Inconstante, Carmagnole, Proserpine, Embuscade, Le Succes, La Concorde, Junon (10)
Two-Deckers: Généreux, Aquilon, Fougeux, Redoutable, Berwick, Swiftsure, Commerce de Bordeaux, Duguay-Trouin (8)
Three-Deckers: Montaigne, Commerce de Marseille, Orient, Austerlitz, Impérial, République Française (6)

    Spain: (4)
    Frigates: Sirena, Ifigenia
    Two-Deckers: Argonauta, Heroe

    United States: (4)
    Privateer: Thorn
    Brig: Lawrence, Niagara
    Frigate: Constitution

More frigates than I can use in an engagement (but still missing 44 razées/super-frigates and perhaps a post ship), and not nearly enough two-deckers. I'm excited that we're getting a 50 and a 64; an 80 and a 90 would be wonderful at some point.

The Niagara? Did you find a good 1:1200 sculpt of her somewhere? (I'm from Erie.)

2020+, isn't that when wave 4 will be released?

I think Wave 3 is scheduled for 3rd quarter 2020, which means shipped in 1st quarter 2021 (I think the longshoreman's contract is up about then).

Susan, one of our members has a Shapeways shop where she has both Niagara/Lawrence and Royal George/Wolfe/Detroit on offer in both 1/1000 and 1/1200.

And a belated Welcome Aboard! Y'all are getting quite the little flotilla built up in the Toronto area... :) (I'm from Seattle, but my gal lives in Toronto, and if I ever get back there to visit her and have the chance to take her out to check out a game it's reassuring to know she'd be in good hands.)

Ok... Now my choice is incorrect. I checked 26-50, but when Constitution and Victory and a few more in the mail arrives I will have more than 50.

    Here's 50 ships + a wreck...

...and less than half is painted. I have many hours of work before me. And I'm a slow painter.

Higher numbers are mentioned in the thread by several members, but there's a lack of pictures.

I'd like to take better pictures as I love the sight of many ships, but I want them painted before that.

It almost counts as double as you have to assemble and paint from scratch.

    Thanks Jonas,
I have been following your re-builds with interest. You put in lots of work. Looking good. You have a big fleet/s in your pocket. I can say once you see them being played with on a table you will push your chest out and put your head up with pride.
