Default Run out the Long 9s!

Even thought the game and most of the ships are sold out everywhere, I did not what to sit on this cool design I had came up with for another Wind Attitude Indicator. I present to you the Long 9 AI

The base size is exactly the same as the original AI. The cannon part is larger, with a slightly longer "arm".

I hope you guys like this new design. And yes, it's not really artwork for a long 9, but it does sound cool!

Sweet!! My first thought was how I might fix a laser pointer to it for LOS, etc? After some addititonal staining though.

If you got a small barrel or pen shaped pointer, it could attache to the backside pretty easy. These Long 9 AI have a lot more upper bulk than the others.

Wouldn't you if a cannon that size was pointed at your ship!

Well done, Keith. She is a beaut.

I like this design better than the original - visually grabbing.

Looks great! That is as long as it's not your own ship it's pointing at.

You know what I would like to see, Keith? I'd like to see a new attitude indicator that was taller than the masts of the ships, so you could actually slide it over the center mast to line up the windage. You'd probably want to cross-brace the stand at that height...

What a great idea Todd. Maybe with an adjustable height.

I love it...but would only use it when checking my opponent's ships.

Gives a new meaning to "the windage of a gun".

Or certainly one way to "get the wind up one's back".
