    Default Paypal Request

Has anyone else received a Paypal request for Wave 2 today? I didn't thin it was going to be available until May at the earliest so it seems rather early to be getting a bill.

Yes, I received one as well. I wanted to check in here before processing payment as I think it's a bit early to be asking for money too.

Yes mine arrived this morning. I wonder what the shipping order will be this time after the less than successful KS distribution. Alphabetical? Payment order? Location? Random...

I think it's about an appropriate time frame to start send them out. If we assume that the ships will make port at the warehouse in mid May, that's only about 6 weeks out. I know they are going to want to have all the payment stuff wrapped up before the packing/shipping process starts, so that cuts them down to about 5 weeks. Knowing how long it takes some people to get around to acting on requests, drop another week and we at 4. Some people don't get paid but every two weeks or need a paycheck or two to get the funds, so now we are at 2 weeks. It's amazing how fast a half dozen weeks can fly by.

Not fast enough to get my grubby hands on those 1st rates!

I just processed the payment via Paypal and noticed on the 'bill' that Ares is assessed a fee. I'm assuming they know about this? Also wondering about a shipping charge?

Well, it seems they are eager to receive payment, but not so expeditious in issuing refunds for the few that opted out.
