    Default Sails of Glory Diorama-WIP

Having the resin base I cast for another ship modeling project in hand it occurred to me that there was no reason not to stage a scene using the SoG ships as well as the Langton ones I'd been working on. With a quick drilling of holes for the ship plugs and using the same positioning of the ships I've got a nice little action shot that can be swapped out with other ships at any time. I do plan on casting a base that has smoother seas (you can see the Black Pearl's bow way out of the water in one shot), but it's going to have to warm up a bit before I can do that. I cannot wait for the 1st rates and the brass ratlines to come out. I think you could create some really impressive dioramas! Cheers.

Nicely done. You should make your next ones sized to fit down in a ficture frame to give them a nice finished look.

Impressive as always Jim. Whether by design or chance you seem to always get very good mood lighting on your photos, well done.

I agree with our shipmates Jim, you're an artisan with these models.
