    Default Damage distribution

    Undamaged SoL (Burden 5) suffered during the same phase following damage from two enemy ships (special damage ignored for this example):

    6, 5, 4, 4, 3, 3, 3, 2, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0

    Is this distrubuted (X stands for full box; zeros are always discarded):

    X(6), X(5), 4, 4, 3, 3, 3, 2, 1, 1, resulting with surrender (2 boxes full and other covered, and leaving one undistributed counter);

    OR

    X(6), X(5), X(4+1), X(4+1), X(3+3), X(3+2), resulting with six full boxes;

    OR

    X(6), X(5), X(4+4), X(3+3), X(3+2), 2(1+1), resulting with 5 full boxes and one covered.

    In my group we have some different interpretation of damage distribution rules, so I kindly ask advice.

    Thanks!

    Heмaњa, the only other thing to consider in the future is this:

    Assume you have a box with a 2 marker on it. On the next round, the damage chits drawn are a 5 and 1. The 5, being equal or greater to the ship's burden, would go on a new box, and the 1 would be added to the box with the 2. This ensures that "really good" shots do appropriate damage, otherwise the high numbers would be, somewhat, wasted.

    Thank you, too, Eric!

    We had that in mind, but we had different views on first example. I'll forward conclusions to my group
