Thank you for celebrating this anniversary with me. I cannot begin to describe how wonderful spending this past year with you has been. You have welcomed me aboard with such a gracious spirit. You have taught me more about AoS than I could ever have imagined learning. You have inspired me with your modeling, and recently, with your SoG repaints. We have kibitzed on many different topics, often hijacking threads taking them to various and interesting ports. We have PMed each other, often sharing personal stories and laughs. I have had the privilege of meeting a few of you in person, and I hope as time passes, that number will continually increase. We have shared the ups and downs of the KS with each other, and the boredom that crept in at times as we waited for the arrival of our ships. You have created a space that my wife felt comfortable enough to enter, and to share the Anchorage and SoG with her is a great joy. You have brought me here, daily, for a year, and when the site was down, I felt the loss of spending time with you.

To you I raise a glass. I am honored to be your shipmate. Thank you.
